We strive to provide a quality service at all times. Much of the service we provide is not easily quantifiable. We take particular care to provide a helpful, friendly and efficient service to all our patients. There will be times when due to demand we might not be able to provide exactly what you want but we will always try to be helpful and treat you with respect. We are regulated by the CQC (Care Quality Comission) who ensure you as patients are provided with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care. This is done through a process of monitoring, inspecting and regulating services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety. They consider the needs of older people, people with long term conditions, families children and young people, working age groups, people experiencing poor mental health and other vulnerable individuals. We were inspected in October 2016 and were delighted to be rated as “good”, see the full report. You can see reports for other surgeries on their website. Our in house leads for CQC are Dr Knight and our Manager Carole Pentelow.
This is a national program setting targets for all GP surgeries in mainly clinical areas. It covers many chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, strokes, asthma, etc.
Patient Participation Group
We have a Patient Participation Group asking for your views/opinions. It involves receiving and replying if you wish to email discussions. If you would like to join this group, please ask at Reception or email the Practice Manager firstname.lastname@example.org.
